1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the DPharp EJX
series pressure transmitter/EJA series pressure
transmitter(“transmitter”).
The transmitters are precisely calibrated at the
factory before shipment.
To ensure both safety and efciency, please
read this manual carefully before operating the
instrument.
This manual describes the HART protocol
communication functions of the transmitter
and explains how to set the parameters for the
transmitters using the HART conguration tool.
For information on the installation, wiring, and
maintenance of the transmitters, please refer to the
users manual of each model.
WARNING
When using the transmitter in a Safety
Instrumented Systems (SIS) application, refer
to Appendix 1 in this manual. The instructions
and procedures in the appendix must be strictly
followed in order to maintain the designed safety
integrity of the transmitter.
